Our 1st XI league side play in the Kent County Village League (Men’s team). The league season runs from May through to the beginning of September.
At the beginning to the season in May we undertake a short tour to the South coast area.

Halstead Netball club trains kids from Year 3 onwards at both Halstead Recreation Ground (summer)  and Weald of Kent School (winter)

We are a not-for-profit theatre group based in Halstead, Kent, dedicated to bringing quality theatrical productions to the local area. Big on collaboration and community spirit, our main aim is to welcome allinterested in having fun, providing live theatre entertainment and raising funds for local causes.

We rehearse locally, put on two productions a year, usually pantos in February and stage plays in October with the odd event in between, and always enjoy meeting people who’d like to get involved, share ideas, lend a hand or otherwise support us. Like to get in touch? We’d love to hear from you.

Meet on the second Tuesday in the month, at 8pm in Halstead Village Hall

Established in 1976, the Halstead & District Horticultural Society is an active village club with around 140 members. It is organised and run by a committee of twelve.

Opening children and their parents to a world of literacy through fun, interactive and engaging classes. Sessions are available for children aged 12 months to starting school and beyond!

We are a friendly club that plays table tennis on Tuesdays between 13.30 and 18.00 in Halstead Village Hall and some Thursday evenings from 1900 – 2200. Dates for the Thursdays in 2023 are still to be confirmed as not all Thursdays are available for hire. 

A few of our members play in the Sevenoaks league and we play to a reasonable standard which is important to ensure that everybody enjoys the afternoon.

We are at full capacity for Tuesdays.

We have capacity for new players on Thursday evenings only for 2023 so if you currently play table tennis or have played before we’d be pleased to welcome you one Thursday evening to see if you like us and we like you.
